After years working in high-street agencies, I often felt something was missing. Too often, recruitment felt transactional when it should be about building lasting relationships. That’s why I founded Perfect Team Recruitment—to offer something different.
We take the time to truly get to know our clients, their businesses, and their company culture, ensuring every candidate we place is the right fit—not just on paper, but in practice. This personal, hands-on approach has led many of our clients to trust us as their sole recruiter for over a decade.

Ruth's Background
When I founded Perfect Team Recruitment in 2000, I knew I wanted to do more than simply match CVs to job descriptions—I wanted to create long-term success stories for both businesses and candidates. Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of companies across a range of sectors find the perfect people for their teams. And for me, success isn’t just about placing candidates in roles—it’s about seeing them thrive, grow, and stay with their companies for years to come.
What sets me apart is my deep understanding of recruitment from both sides of the table. I know the challenges businesses face in finding the right talent, and I also understand what candidates need to feel fulfilled in their careers. That’s why I don’t just source candidates—I personally interview them before they ever reach your desk. In many cases, I even sit on interview panels to help my clients make the best choice. My involvement doesn’t end when a candidate is placed, either—I continue to support them long after they’ve started, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term success.

Ruth's Bio
Started my career at Age 17 working as a PA/Secretary at Senior Management level. I did this for several years until one day I was asked to produce a report in the absence of my box by the MD and he thanked my boss when he returned from holiday. I then joined Atlas Staff Bureau who used to recruit secretaries to recruit secretaries and after 3 months a job came in for a PA to the Sales Director and doing the recruitment for their sales team around the country for Satex and I really never looked back. Their belief was “the customer is always right” and In the 5 years with the business, the Sales Director became the MD, I than moved into sales having gone through their intensive sales training and then into Field Sales Management and took their philiosphy with me. I left when the company became part of Niceday (part of WH Smith).
Following this I moved into several different sales roles within the office stationery industry until I joined UDO, a reprographics company where I started as Sales and ended up as Sales and Branch Manager for 3 years. I was then approached to join Office Angels starting in Watford and then moved to Harrow. I was then headhunted to join Dunton Scott but we were taken over on the same day and became Euro Group.
Satex taught me that the customer is always right and providing a personalised service is beneficial to both parties and these have now followed me through the rest of my career. Hence the reason The Perfect Team has always provided a personalised service to my clients.
